Half way through Dales gorge, the river passes through flat shallow slabs that the water has eroded over time. This has created numerous cascading falls between the layers of different slabs. This large open area is the perfect spot to sit in the shade of the gorge walls and listen to the calming sounds of the water flowing through the landscape.
