Hikers typically come across Hartnett falls on day four of their hike. Plunging into this wide, open river corridor, the water slows and spreads itself out. The spray from the falls is so strong that even from this vantage point down-river, you feel it soaking your rain gear. It is hard to imagine a more idyllic setting to relax and cool down after a hot summers day of hiking.
